Salmon Ruins
Originally constructed by migrants from Chaco in about 1090 CE.
These people constructed a pueblo of about 300 rooms. The site was used
later by people of the Middle Sand Juan culture in about 1120. These
later inhabitants subdivided many of the rooms and rounded some to
form kivas. Ancestral Puebloans thus inhabited the site from 1090 to 1280 CE.
